This is special class being offered for free on the first Thursday of every month in support of the community of survivors of domestic violence (DV) and intimate partner violence (IPV). This class will include 30-40 minutes of somatic movement and postural practice, designed to promote internal awareness of energetic states (interoceptive awareness) and equip participants with resources from the practices of yoga that regulate the mind-body being. The remainder of the time will be used for peer and group support and sharing led by a trained facilitator.
Nothing is needed to participate in this class. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, or borrow one of our studio mats.
