This is a 45-minute movement class focusing on developing and maintaining strength and mobility in a chair-based movement practice. This class is suitable for all bodies, including aging and injured bodies or for those who don't regularly exercise on the floor. This class will include both seated and modified standing postures that are adapted with the use of supporting props and a padded metal folding chair. There will be an equal emphasis on both strengthening the body and stretching the body. Participants can expect a gentle to moderate full-body exercise practice with the occasional assistance of hand weights for resistance strength training. All chairs and props are provided for this class. Please register in advance so that enough props are prepared and class can begin on time.
